Our Beginning

Tulsi Trust was established by Mr. Mithu Chanrai in memory of his late father Mr. Tulsidas Chanrai in August 1975 with an aim to provide the basics to the poor and needy. The Trust continues along this path and has, to a great extent, aligned itself to the UN initiative of ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ which includes among others; no poverty, zero hunger and quality education. Our country too has directed its development trail to meet its priorities of employment, economic growth, poverty alleviation etc. The Trust implements the required development agenda. At a deeper level, it’s more than indulging in physical activities for the general good Health care, Skills development and Education are the top three priorities.

Strategic Objective

The goal of Tulsi Trust is to bring healing, good health and wholeness to humanity, especially to the weaker/poorer sections of society. It supports a wide range of projects which includes good physical health, eye care, provision of food and basic necessities. Tulsi Trust has also started community health programs and conducted health camps and eye camps with support from its partners.
